APERTURA COMERCIAL Y CRECIMIENTO ECONÓMICO:ESTUDIOS EMPÍRICOS DE CUBA Y SU COMPARATIVO CON ESPAÑA

RESUMEN

Este trabajo de investigación analiza la relación existente entre la apertura comercial exterior (exportaciones + importaciones) y el crecimiento del Producto Interior Bruto (PIB) para los casos de Cuba y España, teniendo en cuenta que las políticas comerciales exteriores de ambos países son distintas. Cuba, no es una economía de mercado y es dependiente del exterior, y España, tiene una economía marcada por las directrices del espacio económico europeo, tanto en políticas comerciales como monetarias. Nos ponemos como objetivo principal evaluar empíricamente si el desarrollo de estos países esta relacionado con el crecimiento de sus importaciones y exportaciones, para ello analizamos la evolución de los datos macroeconómicos de los últimos años y utilizamos el modelo econométrico de estimación lineal simple para evaluar dicha relación.

ABSTRACT

This work of investigation analyzes the existing relation between the commercial foreign opening (exports + imports) and the growth of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the cases of Cuba and Spain, bearing in mind that the foreign trade policies of both countries are different. Cuba, it is not a market economy and is dependent on the exterior, and Spain, with an economy marked by the directives of the economic European space, so much in trade as in the monetary policies. We put as principal aim to evaluate empirically if the development of these countries is related to the growth of his imports and exports, for it we analyze the evolution of the macroeconomic information of last years and use the model econométrico of linear simple estimation to evaluate the above mentioned relation.
